A Celebration of Willow

NEW DATE: SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 14

Live whippet racing is coming back to Lambourn Sports Club in aid of the Alabama Rot Research Fund. 

Join us on Sunday, September 14, for an afternoon of racing, family games and fun, Irish music plus great local food and drink. All proceeds from this event will be donated to the Alabama Rot Research Fund in memory of Willow who lost her life to the disease in March 2024.

General admission is £5 per person and can be purchased online here, or using cash on the day. If you wish to go the extra mile and help this event raise £5,000, you can purchase a silver or gold or platinum general admission ticket for £10 or £15 or £20 respectively.

1pm: Doors open: Bowls, garden games, bouncy castle, raffle, silent auction and music.

3.40pm: Rossa-Brown Sighthound Stakes

4pm: Strike A Pose Dash

4.20pm: Fortitude Communications Human Relay Derby

4.40pm: The Bracey Pointy Faces Race

5pm: Coppice Racing Willow Memorial Cup#

5pm 'til late: After-party inside the club with live Irish music from the Black Velvet Band.
